  It’s ok, my boyfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship while I’m at MIT, we both graduated this year and now he’ s in Boston! If its meant to be you’ll work it out

  4:1 they split over the summer, 2:1 they split pretty soon after returning (as they realize that the relationship was nowhere near as good as fantasized when they were apart), 10:1 they stay together for an extended period of time

    I don’t think this is necessarily true. It really depends on how long they had been in a relationship going into the summer.

  Don’t whine. If the relationship was that important to you, you wouldn’t have chosen MIT. Few choices in life are easy.

  If it doesn’t work out, there’s plenty of fish in the sea. What are you? 18? 19? You don’t know jack squat about love.
