Yesterday, my last day of high school, I hugged my teacher goodbye. She taught me for 5 semesters and wrote my MIT recommendation. Last night, I saw her at a graduation party. She was smoking weed and playing beer pong, then had sex with one of my friends. FML.

That’s nothing.
A couple of my high school friends got into good colleges (including MIT) with recommendation letters from a guy who was later discovered to be a pedophile.

While I wouldn’t do such a thing at a graduation party if I were a teacher, I don’t think this deserves an fml. She’s only human, cut her some slack. I know plenty of weed smokers, beer pong players and questionably appropriate sex havers that are perfectly fine people. If she was not bad at her job, you have no business deciding how she should lead her life. You need to learn to not judge people for these things and like them for the good in them.
I am not saying put your morals aside and fall for peer pressure, I am saying don’t hesitate to make friends that don’t have the same morals as you.

I don’t care that she smoked and drank. It’s the fact that she did it at a high school party where she was literally the ONLY adult, and many of her students were underage drinking. Completely messed up and inappropriate. The sex is just the fucked-up icing on the cake.
